This extraordinary pop up brought together a vibrant community of local designers, all orchestrated by the visionary mind of Marc Oliver, the ingenious founder of Millie Collines.'Jamaa: A Fashion Story' is more than just a pop up; it's a celebration of creativity and culture.

Set against the backdrop of the iconic Artcaffe, known for its fusion of culture, cuisine, and creativity, this pop up  transformed into an immersive experience that transported patrons into a living tapestry of stories. As attendees strolled through the pop-up, they encountered a dazzling array of unique fashion pieces, met the talented designers behind them, and became part of a dynamic fusion of art and style.

The designers of the pop up include: Millie Collines, Adele Dejak, Katush, Studio Namnyak, Kiko Romeo, Asha Eleven and Ami Doshi Shah.

Drawing inspiration from the Swahili word for "family" or "community," Oliver crafted an event that went beyond the confines of typical fashion presentations. Jamaa was conceived as a celebration of unity, shared stories, and a profound love for fashion, exemplifying the essence of the designers’ collective vision.

A Canvas for Creativity

Joining Marc Oliver in shaping the narrative of Jamaa was Adele Dejak, known for her timeless and sophisticated designs, added her signature touch to the narrative. Each piece from Adele Dejak’s collection reflected a decade of commitment to quality, unique design and a seamless blend of contemporary and cultural influences. The fusion of art and culture set the stage for an immersive and unforgettable experience.

Katush and new comer, Studio Namnyak, two equally creative forces, brought their unique perspectives and styles to the forefront, contributing to the collaborative venture. Marc Oliver's innovative designs from Millie Collines, Katush's creations, and the distinctive touch of Studio Namnyak formed a harmonious blend that celebrated community, culture, and creativity.

As patrons strolled through the pop-up, they were stepping into a living tapestry of stories. Each designer brought their unique narrative, style, and craft to the forefront, contributing to the rich and diverse fabric of Jamaa.
