Hornbill Ring

The Hornbill brass ring was inspired by the hornbill bird, the hornbills are a family of birds found in tropical and subtropical Africa, Asia, and Melanesia. They are characterized by a long, down-curved bill which is frequently brightly colored and sometimes has a casque on the upper mandible. For the Dayaks, hornbills signify the spirit of God and they must be treated with respect. If a hornbill is seen flying over or visiting their residences, it is said that good luck and fortune will bestow the community. Hornbill elements are also incorporated into their arts, dances, carvings, and ceremonial dresses. The Hornbill-inspired HORNBILL ring is another bold member of the Faith Collection. The unisex ring speaks volumes about one’s personal style. This is the look to have if you want to turn heads and break necks while at it!  Recycled brass is made with utmost care and skill.
