ADÈLE DEJAK

Born in Kano, Nigeria and brought up in Cambridge England, Adèle is a graduate in Typographic Design at the London College of Printing and a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers. She has developed her multiple artistic interests in the UK and Italy, where she established her studio in Rome and worked as the Art Director of the best-selling Italian Pop Magazine.

Adèle Dejak is a brand-new dynamic brand that creates simple cutting edge fashion accessories for the modern woman looking for a sophisticated but hip outfit! It is a brand that has its roots in the heart of Kenya. Here, stunning cutting- edge contemporary designs are created for all those stylish women looking for unique, contemporary accessories.

The inspiration behind Adèle Dejak is African shapes and textures.
Adèle finds the natural colours and beauty of horn a natural art form and has experimented with different techniques to craft unique horn and bone shapes. Her creations are in continuous development: a work in progress that fits together her never-ending quest for the essential artifact that will enhance the personality of the woman who wears it. Her jewellery is meant to be a statement; subtle or bold, but invariably capturing the eye for the originality of their design. Through her jewellery design, Adèle Dejak has brought about an exciting art form that is ultra contemporary yet deeply rooted in African tradition.

Adèle also creates exotic indigenous fabric bags combining the native Congolese kuba fabric and local leather. Other lines feature East African Kitenge fabric as well as Asoke, a long-established Nigerian Yoruba textile.

ADÈLE DEJAK is a new brand of Magik Grace Art and Design Ltd.
